The food I like to cook is simple in nature, uses fresh, local ingredients wherever possible and showcases classic and modern techniques. I tend to gravitate towards mediteranean style cuisine and my most favourite cooking tool is a good old fashioned cast iron pan, ideally on top of an open flame. I've hosted a dozen yoga retreats in Ontario and abroad. The retreat cooking packages I offer are typically vegetarian and seasonal and put an emphasis in clean eating. The recipes I produce are in many cases vegan and gluten free without sacrificing flavour or nutrition.
If you have a commercial kitchen you cannot always staff, I would be delighted to fill in and make sure your guests are well fed. Kitchen takeovers can be arranged for singular dates or ongoing partnerships. My specialty is working in a brewery or winery kitchen where I can tailor the menu items to match the beverages being produced and served on site.
